However, beneath that modest smile lies a man of exceptional depth driven by purpose. At every turn, he has not only endured life’s tests with patience, but emerged from them wiser, stronger, and more refined. He is among those rare few who greet adversity not with fear, but with quiet resolve.

A Life Shaped in the Shadow of His Mother

Born on January 9, 1978, in Sambhar, Mr. Dheeraj is the grandson of the renowned social worker Late Shri Chand Ratan Mohata. Yet it is his mother, Late Smt. Manohar Devi Mohata also affectionately known as Meena Maheshwari, sister of Shri Laxmi Narayan Ji Sabu Patwari Ji from Shrimadhopur, who left the deepest imprint on his life.

Mr. Dheeraj proudly carries her name as a part of his identity, a tribute to the woman who played the roles of both mother and father. After moving to Jaipur, she took up sewing and embroidery to ensure that all three of her sons received a quality education. From her, Dheeraj learned the most enduring lesson of his life: embrace the struggle, but never give up.

Learning, Earning, and Evolving

By the age of 20, Mr. Dheeraj had already begun balancing work with studies. He completed his post-graduation and began preparing for CS, but life’s responsibilities tugged at him early. Though his academic journey was paused, his spirit of learning never faded. He ventured into the clothing and medical retail businesses, constantly adapting, growing, and collecting life lessons along the way. Each shift in career became another chapter in his pursuit of self-betterment.

A Life Partner: The Anchor Through Every Storm

On November 16, 2005, Mr. Dheeraj married Ms. Preeti, daughter of Shri Murlidhar Ji Ajmera of Achrol. She became his anchor through every storm, a partner in every sense of the word. Together, they now devote themselves to nurturing their two sons: Yash, who is currently pursuing CA Inter, and Khush, a student of Grade 8, ensuring they receive not just the best education, but the best values as well.

The Joy of a Joint Family

In a world where joint families are fading, Mr. Dheeraj remains firmly rooted in tradition. He continues to live with his extended family of Neeraj and Priyanka Mohata, and Pankaj and Reshu Mohata. He views this unity not as an obligation, but as a blessing, a reflection of his mother’s teachings and legacy.

Rising high while staying grounded

Today, Mr. Dheeraj Mohata serves as the Purchase & Plant Head at Rajputana Bio Diesel Limited. Yet, despite his professional accomplishments, success has not changed his essence. With grace, he credits his younger brother Neeraj Mohata’s reputation in the field for opening this door for him. Gratitude and humility, for Mr. Dheeraj, are not gestures, they are values woven into the fabric of his life.

The KBC Chapter: A Passion for Knowledge

While many youth found solace in movies and hobbies, Mr. Dheeraj found his thrill in knowledge. General knowledge, to him, became more than just information, it became a passion. In 2007, when Shah Rukh Khan hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati, Mr. Dheeraj reached the Fastest Finger Round and won ₹2 lakhs and got chance to get a memorable click with Shah Rukh Khan.

He auditioned again and had the rare privilege of meeting Amitabh Bachchan Ji in person. Yet his dream does not end there. Today, he’s working towards launching a knowledge-based contest to connect teenagers with the joy and power of learning, turning personal passion into community purpose.

A Heart That Beats for the Maheshwari Community

Mr. Dheeraj holds deep respect and commitment toward the Maheshwari community. He believes that no matter where life takes you, being a Maheshwari brings with it a recognition rooted in values, tradition, and integrity. And while today’s youth may overlook the importance of this identity, Dheeraj remains steadfast in his efforts to reawaken that pride and purpose.

Honouring His Mother Through Service

The loss of his mother during the COVID-19 pandemic left a permanent void in Dheeraj’s heart. However, he chose to turn grief into grace. Every year, in her memory, he organizes a blood donation camp where 250–300 units are collected. The initiative, supported wholeheartedly by the Mohata family, also offers free medical check-ups and honors each donor with a certificate and helmet.

More than an annual event, it is a deeply personal tribute, an act of service that echoes his mother’s selflessness. Throughout the year, Dheeraj remains a helping hand for anyone in need of blood, standing quietly as a guardian of life.
